Consent to Electronic Records and Signatures
Effective July 12, 2026
1. Consent
You consent to receive and sign LegacyOS account agreements, policies, billing notices, transaction-fee disclosures, renewals, authorizations, and other service records electronically. Clicking an acceptance box, typing a name where requested, or taking another clearly identified electronic-signature action is intended as your electronic signature.
2. Hardware and software
You need an internet-connected device, a current browser supporting TLS and JavaScript, a working email address, and software capable of displaying and saving HTML and PDF files. You confirm that you can access, read, download, and retain the electronic documents presented.
3. Copies and contact updates
You may print or download documents when presented and request an available paper copy through Support. Keep your email and account contact information current. Electronic notices may be sent to the account email or displayed inside LegacyOS.
4. Withdrawal
You may withdraw consent for future electronic records by submitting a Legal/Consent request through the Privacy Request form. Withdrawal does not invalidate records or signatures already provided. If electronic delivery is necessary to operate an online-only feature, withdrawal may require closing the account after legally required records are provided.
5. Separate transaction authorization
General electronic consent does not by itself authorize a closing professional to deduct a transaction fee. Any closing disbursement instruction must be presented as a separate, transaction-specific authorization identifying the deal, calculation, amount or calculation method, payee, and revocation rules.
