Refund and Cancellation Policy
Effective July 12, 2026
1. Clear pricing
Before purchase, LegacyOS displays the subscription amount, billing interval, trial terms if any, material provider charges, and the separate 3.5% transaction fee. The transaction fee applies only to an assignment fee or documented double-close net profit actually received from a Covered Transaction—not the property price.
2. Subscription cancellation
A customer may request cancellation from Billing. Cancellation stops future renewal at the end of the paid billing period unless the checkout disclosure or applicable law requires an earlier effective date. Access generally continues through that period. Cancellation does not erase charges already incurred or a transaction fee earned from a pre-cancellation Covered Transaction.
3. Subscription refunds
Except where law requires otherwise or LegacyOS expressly promises a refund at checkout, subscription charges are nonrefundable after a billing period begins. Duplicate charges, incorrect amounts, unauthorized charges, and verified service billing errors will be investigated and corrected. A discretionary credit does not create an obligation to issue future credits.
4. Provider and usage charges
Completed paid property-data, skip-trace, communications, AI, or other third-party lookups are generally nonrefundable because the provider cost is incurred when requested. A charge may be reversed when logs show the request was not delivered to the provider, was duplicated by a LegacyOS error, or was incorrectly billed.
5. Transaction-fee adjustments
No transaction fee is owed when a Covered Transaction fails to close and no qualifying proceeds are received. If proceeds are returned, rescinded, or reduced after payment, submit final settlement records within thirty days for recalculation. Undocumented overhead and unrelated expenses do not reduce Double-Close Net Profit.
6. Billing disputes
Submit a Billing support request or email support@legacypsos.com promptly with the charge date, amount, reason, and supporting records. We will acknowledge and investigate. Nothing in this policy limits nonwaivable statutory rights or card-network dispute rights.
